When I first met with the Fairy Mommy of this party to check out their gorgeous backyard (the party venue), I absolutely fell in love with the beautiful stone wall and waterfall that they had installed a couple years ago. Instantly I knew that would be the backdrop for our magical fairy party. Next came the task of planning a backdrop that you could look through, to see the waterfall. This is how the frame with the vines and butterflies twirled around it came about. Sadly, we eventually had to move the table a few feet away from the waterfall because we ended up needing the wall for support. It was too windy, but hey, at least it didn’t rain!

I always like to incorporate the birthday child’s name into the decor somehow, which is where I enlisted the help of my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the letters for SUHANI’S name. These were hung from the top of the frame with green ribbon. I loved how the piece turned out! Simple, but large impact.
This is Suhani, the prettiest fairy of them all :) And also the birthday girl of course. Isn’t she gorgeous?

This little fairy had the BEST reaction to seeing herself in the mirror after having her face painted. Most dramatically,
with both hands on either side of her face, she said ‘Ooooh! I look SOOO beautiful’…. It was the CUTEST thing!
