A spy party is fun for any age group (yes, adults too!) but it was especially PERFECT for this 7 year old, because it gave me a chance to incorporate the 007 James Bond theme as well! This party was held outdoors, but an indoor version could include an escape room for entertainment.
The Desserts
The spotlight was on the desserts at this party! We creatively converted the most popular 007 movies into naming the desserts, and styling them after the spy party theme. “A View To A Kill” became “A View To A Cupcake”, and “Thunderball” became “Cakeball”, while “Casino Royale” became “Casino Cookies”. The kids had a good laugh over these clever remakes!
Entertainment
Each kid received a custom spy shirt and glasses, which they had to wear for their group missions. Activities included deciphering codes with disappearing ink and scientific experiments with different materials. The kids then embarked on an awesome scavenger hunt with word and picture clues, with prizes that included edible paper and ink. They got to send secret messages to their friends, who would then eat their messages to destroy them!
